Stuff, we all have, we all need it and of course, we all have more of it than we ever know what to do with. When we move out of our parents’ home and into our own places, we are typically given some starter stuff to use – couches, chairs and other items that people don’t want. From there, we start to acquire greater income which allows us to gather more stuff.
Over time, we start to amass so much stuff that we just don’t know what to do with it. To help keep it under control we will buy or rent a storage container miami to hold all of our stuff. In some cases, this can become very expensive so, it is a good idea to learn how to manage your stuff so that you are not overwhelmed.
What do you use today?
The first thing that you want to do is determine what it is you use today. What I mean by this is that what are you using on a day to day basis? These are the items that you want to set highest priorities on. These are the items that you don’t want to store but rather keep separate and use.
What gives you sentimental value
There are going to be a lot of items that we get in life that will have some type of sentimental value to them. They will be given to us from our parents or from a friend. These items need to be held onto even if they don’t have a place in our current space.
Once you have the items you need and the items that give you sentimental value, then you can just go through everything else and start tossing it or putting a priority number on it. When we do this, we can quickly start weeding out trash or items we will never use and help with our monthly storage bills.
